Facts and history about Beta!
Adam West (left) is a Beta! He graduated as a Gamma Zeta at Whitman College and was drafted and went on to work for the Armed Forces Network before his career in television. Neil Everett (left-center), sportscaster for ESPN, is also a Beta, he was initiated at Willamette University and transferred and continued his relationship with the Fraternity until he graduated from University of Oregon in 1984. Robert Reed (right-center) is also a Beta! Known for his role as Mike Brady in the Brady Bunch, he was initiated at Muskagee Central in 1950. Leigh Harline (Beta at Utah, 1929, right) is most known for winning an Oscar for his compostion of "When You Wish Upon A Star." Additionally, 6 Betas have been awarded the medal of honor since its establishment in 1839.
Beta Theta Pi was established at OSU in 1885, preceded as an organization by Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI), but had the very first Fraternity house on campus at The Ohio State University,
Beta Theta Pi made its constitution on July 4th, 1839.
